OSCARS 2015 – THE PREDICTIONS

Oscars

Blimey, this time of year certainly rolls around quickly.  All in all, this year’s nominations looks pretty savvy – The Grand Budapest Hotel leading the way with 9 nods is something of a surprise to me, and Birdman, also on 9, not being nominated for editing is a travesty – but everything else (that I’ve seen) looks rather well considered.  In any case, here are my picks for the winners in each category.

Italics denote what I think should win, bold denotes what I think will win.  Bear in mind I’m yet to see every film nominated.
